Lax Kw’alaams is a small coastal First Nations community located in a remote area of Northern BC. Our equipment and supplies have to be barged into the village. There are two routes, through Tuck Inlet which requires a 20 minute drive into the village or directly to Lax Kw’alaams which takes 4 times longer as you have to go around the outside.

When delivering to Tuck Inlet, it is a shorter distance from Prince Rupert and requires all supplies to be transported by truck to the job site. The trucks transport the supplies on the Tuck Inlet road which we paved and received the Deputy Minister’s Award of Excellence for in 2016.

As we have a great working relationship with the Village of Lax Kw’alaams, we were prepared for the challenging tasks and are able to meet their needs.

Dante Massari, Construction Manager, has been with Terus Construction for 35+ years and brings extensive knowledge and leadership to both our crews and the owner.
