The Village of Masset is located on the north end of Haida Gwaii.
Our equipment and supplies must be barged or ferried over to Haida Gwaii which is a 6 hour ferry ride and twice that for the barge. As there are minimal hotel rooms in the small Village of Masset, we rent houses for our crew.
Over the last couple of years, we consulted with the Village of Masset and provided budgetary quotes to assist them in their funding applications for their paving program.
The negotiated request for proposal (NRFP) was sent out and Terus was identified as the highest-rated respondent.
